For 25 years, Tony dedicated much of his time volunteering in the West Hempstead community as well as the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc. (CP Nassau) This association is an independent, non-profit health agency that serves over 1,800 kids and adults that suffer from Cerebral Palsy and other developmental disabilities. Every year CPN has a golf outing which Tony and his group, known as “The Mulligan Club” raise money for. This team of 20 gentlemen work humbly throughout the year to raise money for all the children and adults at the CP Nassau Center. Tony says, “The mission of the Mulligan Club is to give a hand up, not a hand out. The money we raise goes to programs which help those who are afflicted with this, to enjoy different activities and give them a feeling of self-worth and pride. Everything we do for this event is not done for glory or accolades, it is genuinely done from the heart”.
This year is special for Tony because he was selected to be the Vice Chairman of their upcoming golf outing. In addition to being honored that position, Tony was also awarded the “Excellence in Community Service Award” at a Dignitary Luncheon on April 29th. EBI would like to congratulate Tony on his accomplishments. We admire and applaud your giving spirit! Keep up the extraordinary work!
