In response to rising COVID-19 cases in Boston and throughout Massachusetts, the state is providing additional services by re-opening Boston Medical Center East Newton Pavilion Center and utilizing the space for quarantine and medical care for the city’s homeless population.
EBI Consulting was hired by a private lender in 2016 to monitor the development of a 3-building resort on a small island off the coast of the US. The site construction was halted in 2008 due to the recession and after years sitting idle, a new developer purchased the land.
EBI Consulting was recently retained by a developer for a high-profile project in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. This client understood it was in their best interest to thoroughly investigate the property for asbestos, other hazardous materials, and any other potential issues prior to the start of major renovations.
EBI Consulting was contracted by a turnkey wireless development firm, on behalf of a nationwide carrier company, to conduct radio frequency electromagnetic (RF-EME) modeling to determine RF-EME exposure levels for proposed wireless communications equipment at this site.

Fannie Mae retained EBI Consulting to conduct a Property Condition Assessment for the foreclosure of a 280-unit multifamily residential complex located in Houston, TX. The reports were completed in general conformance with the ASTM E 2018-15 and Fannie Mae PCR guidelines. Our Fannie Mae dedicated staff of engineers, architects, scientists, program managers, and reviewers delivered the high-quality comprehensive reports for which EBI is known, in accordance with the clients’ specifications and time restraints.
Tuxedo Park School requested an Acquisition Property Condition Report (herein referred to as APCR) to assess three buildings, ranging in size from one to three stories, totaling approximately 70,927-gross square feet and 64,037-net rentable square feet. EBI performed facility condition assessments to suggest repair or maintenance on items considered customary for the property to continue in its current operation, compared to properties of similar age and condition, and assisted Tuxedo Park School in its due diligence efforts in evaluating the property.
EBI Consulting provided Underground Storage Tank (UST) removal oversight with confirmatory soil sample collection and laboratory analysis at the Town of Andover Department of Public Works (DPW) Yard, associated with the decommissioning of a 10,000-gallon diesel fuel UST. The DPW Yard has an Activity and Use Limitation (AUL) on the property, so to facilitate tank removal, EBI prepared a Soil Management Plan (SMP) and an Environmental Health and Safety Plan (EHSP) to satisfy requirements of the AUL.
EBI performed a Capital Needs Assessment (CNA), Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), and HUD Environmental Review Online Systems (HEROS) Online Report for the refinance of a 280-unit multifamily residential complex.
