The Toxics Use Reduction Act, or TURA, is a Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) law requiring facilities that use specific chemicals to follow certain monitoring and reporting procedures. TURA reporting is an annual requirement for facilities that meet the chemical thresholds outlined in the regulation. Applicable facilities must submit an annual Toxics Use Report to MassDEP each year, develop a Toxics Use Reduction plan, and pay an annual Toxics Use Fee. EBI Consulting’s EH&S Environmental Compliance team can help you understand your responsibility under TURA, and then achieve and maintain TURA compliance.
